Julie Haas

With over 16 years of prior recruitment and staffing experience, Julie joined Stewart Staffing Solutions in 2006 as a senior level recruiter. Quickly emerging as one of the company’s lead producers, she worked her way up through various levels of mid and senior management and became a managing partner in October of 2014. Julie has built a stellar reputation in the administrative, customer service and medical industries and has developed a reputation for effectively working with and managing high-volume accounts. Julie has received numerous awards for client development, recruitment, sales and leadership and has effectively expanded her reach to the national level. She has an intuitive nature and leverages that skill toward acquiring a comprehensive understanding of her clients’ needs, which drives faster turnaround times on staffing requests and perfect matches on candidate placement. Although currently residing in the greater Hartford, CT area, Julie enjoys frequent trips down south where much of her family still lives.

Jacob Probst

Jacob specializes in engineering and manufacturing direct hire recruitment. He began his career with Stewart Staffing Solutions November 2012 and quickly achieved success over the next 12 months as both the “Rookie of the Year” and the “Consultant of the Year” in 2013 where he was personally responsible for an unprecedented number of candidate placements and sales records. Jake has a vigilante commitment to doing the right thing for all stakeholders. His work ethic is second to none and he is a detailed planner. He executes with intense precision and consequently exceeds expectations for his clients and candidates without exception. He is a student of the recruitment industry and makes it his business to improve something in his skill set in some significant way every single day. Jake was recently promoted to the position of manager of the direct hire division.

Michael Harvey

Mike has over 15 years of experience in the recruitment and staffing industry, working on both direct hire and temporary positions. Mike, who attended Central Connecticut State University and earned his CTS designation in 2005, is the manager of the light industrial division of the company and oversees a staff of seasoned Recruiters.  He has been with Stewart Staffing Solutions since 2006 and has built a reputation of trust and confidence with both his clients and candidates. He was promoted to Managing Partner in 2015. Throughout the years and through his comprehensive process, Mike has developed the ability to quickly understand exactly what his clients are looking for and then identifying the right candidate to make the perfect match. Mike is a very hardworking and focused recruiter which has made him one of the top recruiters and producers in the industry.  Prior to joining Stewart Staffing Solutions, he was an executive recruiter specializing in the placement of senior level positions in the healthcare & manufacturing fields.

Shane Smith

Shane Smith is the Managing Partner of Stewart Recruitment Group’s Greater Boston office. Prior to joining Stewart Recruitment Shane spent four years working in retail and commercial banking as well as two years in sales with one of the nations leading online recruitment organization. This combination of market experience has proved to make Shane a great resource to clients and candidates alike in the banking, mortgage, and accounting space.

 

Shane is a graduate of Saint Anselm College and a current resident of Lowell, MA. He is responsible for a team of direct-hire recruiters who support banking, mortgage, accounting, engineering, manufacturing, and IT recruitment. Brandy Robbins

Brandy, a devoted mother of a special needs child and the company controller, has been in the accounting / payroll field since 2003 servicing recruiters to C- level executives of a large company in Hartford, CT. She earned her AAS in accounting in 2003 and has utilized those skills by processing payroll and benefits for more than 2,500 employees. Brandy’s dedication, honesty and upbeat personality have helped her to build lasting and credible relationships with temporary employees, clients, candidates and permanent staff. In a very high-energy, fast-paced business environment, whether sitting in at the front desk, preparing financial statements or simply crunching numbers seeking more cost-effective ways to drive business, Brandy does it in a way that is both effective and seemingly stress free.

Stephanie Alson

Stephanie began her professional career in kitchen design where careful and precise attention to details, exceptional customer satisfaction and administrative professionalism were the primary keys to her success. Approximately 10 years ago, Stephanie decided to leverage those skills and apply them to the administrative support field specifically in the staffing and recruitment industry. Accordingly, eight years ago, she joined Stewart Staffing Solutions in an administrative and clerical support role. In 2011, due to her exceptional organizational and customer service skills combined with her “can-do” attitude and respectful manner, Stephanie was promoted to the position of office/operations manager. Stephanie assists many people in the office on a daily basis and works hard to help in every way she can. She takes on new projects with enthusiasm and works her way through every obstacle until completed. Stephanie is considered a staffing and recruitment industry administrative expert and works hard to make certain she stays ahead of emerging industry trends.

Kathi Wright

Kathi has been in the Staffing and recruitment industry since 1979. She earned her degree in business management from Mattatuck Community College and has been subsequently servicing the professional staffing needs of Greater Hartford Area corporations for all of those years. Kathi is a strong proponent of professional education and has continued hers on an ongoing basis through various management and human resources courses and seminars. Kathi joined Stewart Staffing Solutions in August of 2009 as a Senior Account Manager; a role she was very familiar with having been in several management positions prior to Stewart Staffing for over 22 years. Kathi brings with her a strong commitment and proven record of both client and candidate satisfaction. She has nurtured long-lasting relationships with both her candidates and clients, always being proactive to sense an opportunity for both sides. Her customer awareness and ability to match applicant skills with client needs are unsurpassed in the industry. Kathi is a member the Human Resource Association of Central Connecticut, SMA, SHRM and she volunteers her time to participate in special projects for the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce.

Michael Thibodeau

After attending college in Vermont and subsequently receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in 2000, Mike returned to Connecticut and became a teacher for the East Hartford school system. While teaching, he concurrently worked evenings as a retail sales professional. After achieving significant success in this position, Mike was promoted to a management position and remained in this role with the same company for 11 years. The strong work ethic and dedication that helped make him successful as a sales manager has served him well in the recruitment and staffing industry. Mike has a talent for finding highly qualified candidates that match his client’s values. Mike has been with Stewart Staffing Solutions for over three years and continues to develop a reputation as an effective; ethics based recruiter with an unparalleled drive to serve his clients with consistency, efficiency and integrity.

Roy Barnum

Roy has been a driving force at Stewart Staffing Solutions since early 2013. Since then, he has achieved enormous success on behalf of his clients and candidates. He specializes in light industrial and environmental staffing. Roy brings over ten years of experience in sales, marketing and mentoring to bear and his prior experience in the education and sales fields has strengthened his ability to learn exactly what his clients’ needs are and how matching the right candidates to them is an integral part of their success.

Douglas Greenwald

Douglas, an experienced full-cycle recruiter, joined Stewart Staffing Solutions & Recruitment Group with years of experience in direct hire, contract-to-hire and contract work. His specialty is in placing engineering and manufacturing professionals in positions both regionally and nationally with a focus on the New England and Midwest markets. By working with both local and national clients, he is able to partner with top companies to provide advice on hiring decisions and to identify top industry talent and emerging market trends. Prior to joining Stewart Staffing & Recruitment Group, Doug worked in the environmental and emergency response fields, developing clients and a significant candidate base throughout New England. He is also a volunteer firefighter and a member of the Connecticut Urban Search & Rescue Team.

Jill Michaud

Jill, an energetic and focused new member of the Stewart Staffing Solutions & Recruitment Group team, attended the University of Hartford and Westfield State University. She graduated cum laude with a BA in communications from Westfield and subsequently acquired over a decade of sales and customer service experience. As a former pharmaceutical sales representative, Jill honed her skills in marketing and client consultation and now engages her expertise in sourcing top-tier professional talent. Jill takes pride in her ability to develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with her clients and candidates alike. She is a Massachusetts native and a current resident of Hartford County and possesses strong community ties to both regions.

Ryan Biddiscombe

Ryan is full-cycle recruiter with experience in direct hire recruitment, executive placement, contract and contract-to-hire recruiting. He has over ten years of experience in new business development, client account management, hiring, business strategy and consultative sales. Ryan works on a both a contingent and retained basis, partnering with clients throughout the Northeast marketplace, as well as nationally to help them identify top talent and to advise them on strategic hiring decisions. While his talent spans a wide array of diverse industries, his practice is focused on recruiting Sr. level Engineering, Sales, and Management professionals, with heavy emphasis in the medical device manufacturing sector.

Brian Klinakis

Brian is a Consumer Specialist with over 15 combined years in the financial and hospitality industries.

He has built a reputation of building solid relationships with colleagues and customers alike. His ability to listen, understand and address his client’s needs are the cornerstones of what makes him a successful professional. With his specialty in manufacturing in Connecticut, Massachusetts and nationally, Brian is establishing himself in the recruitment industry as a go-to source for people in the manufacturing field.

Diana Sagen

Diana is an energetic and driven new consultant of the Stewart Staffing Solutions & Recruitment Group team. Prior to Stewart Staffing she worked in various sales roles as well as with the special education population. Diana focuses on developing long term relationships with both clients and candidates and prides herself on always doing the right thing. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Connecticut in 2010.

Joe Guarino

Joe joined the team as a staffing consultant in late 2015, coming from 10 years in the automotive industry where he was able to form a true understanding of customer service.  Joe attended Norwich University, a senior military college, giving him the ability, drive, ethics and dedication to successfully provide superior service to both clients and candidates.  Since Joe was given the opportunity with Stewart Staffing he has excelled recruiting throughout a wide variety of fields.

PJ McCaw

PJ McCaw is a Recruitment Consultant for Stewart Recruitment Group’s Greater Boston office. PJ focuses on the commercial and residential real estate industries. He works across the nation with full-service real estate companies, brokerage firms, private equity groups, lending institutions, development companies, mortgage companies and banks.

PJ studied Economics at Hobart College, where he was also a member of the football team. His studies provide a valuable way of thinking in the real estate space. PJ’s athletic background lends well to recruitment, where his resilience, communication and team orientation make him an advisor to both prospective clients and candidates. She is currently attending Post University and is studying in the field of Psychology. Her studies has provided her with the skills to enhance her ability to work with a wide variety of candidates and clients.
